Jennifer Grey's old home :-)

I posted about Jennifer's gorgeous home in the last post,but I also wanted to post some pics of her last home. It appeared on the cover and inside the October 2007 Romantic Country magazine.
(I love that magazine! I adore Fifi(the editor) beyond words! She is so very sweet and talented!) I cut the article out about Jennifer's home and put it in my inspiration book before I even knew about her blog. :-)

I love the purses hanging in the pics above! I have mirrored hooks just like that! It makes me wish that I hadn't already sold the vintage purses(below) I "blinged up" so that I could display them in my home!! :-)




Our(really) close neighbors just cut down about 12 trees that were between our houses. Now that we no longer have any privacy on that side I am going to hang up white dreamy fabric like in the pic below on our patio.

I am totally in LOVE with Jennifer's house! Just DARLING!
She has totally transformed it from icky to amazing!!!

I just adore chalk board paint! It is not very expensive and you can do so much with it!
I love that you can write or draw on it however you want then simply wipe it all off and start over again :-) I can't wait to buy some chalk board paint this weekend and get busy painting!

One of the rooms I want to decorate with chalkboard paint is my 2 year old son L.'s room.

This tree design is adorable



Love all the bright colors in this room.(Even though I myself like lots of white and some pastels in
most of my decorating. I am going to decorate with color in my son's room to make it bright and fun for him.)

Did you know that you can even make your own chalk board paint?

I can think of so many uses for chalk board contact paper . So cool!! I have also heard that you can paint chalk board paint on plain white contact paper and it works the same.

Besides fixing up the house(like we seem to do non stop lately. lol)
